NoJoke was born from a simple but powerful belief — that books and knowledge should be accessible to everyone, not just those who can afford brand-new prices.
Founded by One Eighty Event Sdn Bhd, a Malaysian company with deep roots in events and community building, NoJoke began as a vision to create Malaysia's most vibrant marketplace for books and reading culture. We saw a gap: millions of great books sitting unread on shelves, while readers searched for affordable titles they could not easily find. We decided to do something about it — and NoJoke was the answer.
